Brian met Christ in a very personal way in his childhood. He sensed a calling into ministry in his teen years and continues to be defined by that calling. Brian met Val at Gardner College and they’ve been married since 1982. Upon completing graduate work in Edmonton, Brian and Val came to the Camrose Church of God in 1985. A post-graduate degree followed in 2007. “Pastoring is the best job in the world,” he says, sometimes with tongue in cheek. Brian and Val have 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, and a disobedient middle-aged puppy. Brian is passionate about congregational health. His hobbies include golf, running, and roaring around town on his motorcycle. |

John & Twyla Mize came to our church in December 2002. They have three active and energetic boys. John loves late nights with youth, and tolerates early morning staff meetings. Coffee also rates high on the list, but not above being a husband and dad. John is a graduate of Taylor Seminary. |

David began his ministry at our Church in March 2003. He and his wife Kim have two daughters, Emily and Olivia. David has a passion for those who are in need of prayer and spiritual counsel. He leads our CARE Team, prayer ministries, GriefShare program, and small group ministries. He?s a graduate of Taylor Seminary and Red Lobster?s school of customer satisfaction! |

Colleen joined our staff in November 2004, but she has served in ministries too numerous to mention prior to becoming our Administrative Secretary. She has recently been hired as our Director of Ministry Implementation. |

Greg Cooper

Greg comes to us from Calgary. (We still haven't convinced him to cheer for the Oilers but we're working on it.) Greg has Attended Rocky Mountain Bible College and together with Kim lived in Zimbabwe teaching, preaching. and was the music pastor. Greg brings excitment and new life to our ministry team working with young adults and giving leadership and direction to the worship ministry. |
| We welcome Kim back to Camrose. Kim grew up in Camrose but since graduating high school she has lived in Edmonton for Marvel College, Eston,. SK for Bible College, Calgary and Harare, Zimbabwe, and back to Calgary. Kim has been invovled in ministry of one sort or another for her entire life. Kim and Greg have one son Amittai. |
