Approximately 12 years ago, my oldest son Riley was the New Year's baby in Camrose. One of the prizes we received was a children's bible from the Camrose Church of God. This was a perfect invitation for us to become a part of the church family. We were welcomed with open arms. My life has taken a completely new direction since then, but God has shown His faithfulness, consistently pushing me to levels of faith and trust that I didn't know I had in me. Our church has been and continues to be there for us. I am grateful for the invaluable support my kids and I have received from Pastor Brian, Pastor Dave and our friends in the church. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason...God always knows what He is doing...every small detail is a part of His plan. I guess that children's bible had our name on it from the start! |

Woven into the fabric of our lives, the Camrose Church of God has blessed us with Biblical teaching, and wonderful fellowship with friends over these past 18 years. The milestone events of births, baby dedications, and baptisms have been celebrated with love and care here amongst friends. Mission trips, service projects, and opportunities for all family members to develop their gifts and talents have been incredibly important parts of our growth as Christians. The privilege of "belonging, becoming and believing" with you has been a great one. Thanks so much. |

I have found this church to be one filled with love and compassion—one that is committed to God, to each person in the congregation, and to the community. It is a privilege and a source of encouragement to be part of this church. |

I have no family in Canada and the Church of God always has been a home for me. When holidays came and I didn't have any place to go, several people in the congregation invited me for a dinner or a game night. It's a happy place that is involved in the community. That's what Christ asked us to do. All the pastors are so passionate about what they are doing and their messages are great too. |

My name is Lorie Simmet. I am 20 years old and currently a missionary, based out of Nashville TN. Growing up in the Camrose Church of God helped me to learn what I truly believed and why. The youth group in the church kept me on track and out of trouble. Becoming a youth leader helped me to talk to teens and live out my faith in a whole new way. I really appreciated that the pastors were caring. I remind myself of those times when I talk to teens and deal with tough situations here, knowing that everyone needs someone to care about them to help guide them in the right direction. I am really thankful that I grew up in the Camrose Church of God. |
