The CAREgiving Team of the Camrose Church of God serves to provide basic pastoral care to our church family. What does this mean?
Caring – this could be as simple as a phone call, a personal conversation, a visit in the hospital, or follow-up with someone who is new to the church
Affirming – taking note of spiritual gifts and how they can be used in the life of the church and community
Restoring – assisting in the restoration of relationships that have been strained or broken.
Encouraging – coming alongside of those who are hurting through the ministry of presence and intercession.
Essentially, the CAREgiving Team is at the hub of mutual care between members of our church family. If you know of a need, or if you would be interested in serving on the CAREgiving Team, contact the church office.
Meet our church’s CAREgiving Ministers.
Experienced, caring, and growing CAREgivers all, these folks stand ready to offer basic pastoral care to persons in need in our church. Each of our CAREgiving Ministers have unique gifts or areas of specialty. We hope to match needs and gifts as much as possible.
We’ll do our best to take the initiative, but you’ll have to let us know of needs as well.
You might need to call the church office if you need pastoral care.
Just know this above all – God loves you, and these folks do, too!
