The 2013 Camrose City and County Prayer Breakfast is fast approaching. The event takes place next Wednesday, May 15 at the CRE.

Tickets are available in advance only. The last day to get yours is Friday, May 10. Please drop in at the office or call us.

Summer Soccer Camp! July 29-Aug 2

Camrose Church of God is in partner with Athletes in Action to minister to the community through a soccer camp for ages 7-12. Athletes in Action is a ministry using sports as a way to present the gospel. This year Camrose Church of God is running the camp, providing a great way to connect with the community. There are plenty of volunteer positions as a way to be involved.

The following are needed areas for service:

Assistant Coaches

2 Billets (for 2 males or 2 females)

Prayer Coordinator

Snack Coordinator

Volunteer Appreciation Night

Registration

Picture and Video

First Aid (3-5 people)

BELONGING – Next Steps

You may begin attending worship services for a wide variety of reasons – a friend’s invitation, worship “style,” the coffee that’s served during the social time, a convenient time or location, etc. But the primary reason you’re likely to BE part of that church for a LONG time is that you feel like you BELONG. We are working at creating BELONGING opportunities. Give us a call or send an email or connect through Facebook to let us know if you’re actively in some kind of a group in our church now and some of the benefits. Or if you’re looking to take BELONGING to the next level in the church, let us know, so we can help you connect to others like yourself.

Uganda 2014 – Ministry in the Jewel of Africa

Consider a life-transforming ministry trip to Uganda, Central Africa in the spring of 2014. Our hosts, Tim and Colleen Stevenson, invite us to know them, their work, and their people through meeting Training for AIDS Prevention Program (TAPP) personnel, helping to construct church buildings, visiting clinics, schools, and leadership training events.
