Brian Krushel, Senior Pastor

Brian met Christ in a very personal way in his childhood. He sensed a calling into ministry in his teen years and continues to be defined by that calling. Brian met Val at Gardner College and they’ve been married since 1982. Upon completing graduate work in Edmonton, Brian and Val came to the Camrose Church of God in 1985. A post-graduate degree followed in 2007. “Pastoring is the best job in the world,” he says, sometimes with tongue in cheek. Brian and Val have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and a disobedient middle-aged puppy. Brian is passionate about congregational health. His hobbies include golf, running, and roaring around town on his motorcycle.

John Mize, Associate Pastor of Youth

John & Twyla Mize came to our church in December 2002. They have three active and energetic boys. John loves late nights with youth, and tolerates early morning staff meetings. Coffee also rates high on the list, but not above being a husband and dad. John is a graduate of Taylor Seminary.

 

Diane Carlson, Minister of Worship

Diane joined the Church of God Staff in February 2012 for a one year interim position. She met her husband Keith at Capernwray Bible School, England. They have been happily married for 31 years and are blessed with three children, two of whom are married and living in Edmonton. She has been involved in worship/music ministry from a young age and has had opportunities to serve in several churches throughout her life. Her passion is to live life loved; her ministry an overflow of worship of the one who lavishly pours His love into our lives. Diane enjoys walking, cooking travel and visiting over a good cup of coffee.
